Will your savings last as long as you do?
Sit down with Marc Aarons, President of Money Managers, Inc., for a no-cost, no-obligation Retirement Roadmap Consultation. We'll look at what you have, what you want retirement to look like, and how your income could play out over the next 10, 20, or 30 years.
45 minutes by phone, video, or at our Orange office. Weekdays 10am to 4pm.- Helping families plan since 2009
- Registered investment adviser, CRD #151602
- Offices in Orange, CA and Las Vegas, NV
You've done the saving. The hard part is knowing if it's enough.
Most people we talk to have been careful with money for decades. What they don't have is a clear answer to the question that keeps coming back: if the market drops the year I retire, or I live to 95, do I still get to live the way I planned?
Some have already sat across from advisors who promised returns that never showed up. That's the reason this first conversation is about your numbers and your plans, not a pitch.
Illustration only. Not a projection of any investment or account.
What happens in the consultation
It's a conversation, not a sales presentation. You don't need to prepare anything.
-
Tell us where you are
What you've saved, where it's held, when you'd like to stop working, and what a normal week in retirement looks like for you.
-
Look at the years ahead
We talk through how income, spending, taxes, and market swings could affect your money over the next few decades.
-
Leave with next steps
You'll know where the gaps are and what to look at next, whether you decide to work with us or not.
If you become a client, here's how we work
Your plan and your portfolio are built around the same goals, and we keep watching both after the first meeting.
- Weekly review: ADV Item 13 says accounts are monitored continuously, with formal reviews at least annually. If weekly reviews are the firm's real practice, the ADV should say so at the next amendment, and Marc should be able to show records of them.
- Four-week rebalancing check: Not described in the ADV. Same requirement. The intake comparison ("others do every 12 weeks") has been removed. A comparison to competitors needs proof we don't have.
- Planning included: The ADV lists separate financial planning fees of $200 to $10,000. Confirm planning is included at no added charge for investment management clients, or reword.
- Left out on purpose: "AI tools," "manage the downside risk," and "potential upside growth." Regulators have brought cases against advisers for overstating their use of AI, and the risk and growth lines read as outcome claims.
Weekly portfolio review
Client accounts are reviewed every week for risk, so changes in your account or the market get noticed early.
Rebalancing checked every four weeks
If an account has drifted from its target mix, it's brought back in line. If it hasn't, nothing changes.
Planning comes with it
Financial planning is part of investment management, so you can see whether you're on track for the retirement you described.
How we're paid
As a registered investment adviser, we have a fiduciary duty to act in your best interest. Investment management is billed as an annual percentage of the assets we manage, and we don't receive commissions on securities. Marc is also a licensed insurance agent and may earn commissions on insurance products, which is disclosed in our Form ADV Part 2A.
Who this conversation is for
A good fit if you're
- Still working and starting to think seriously about when you can stop
- Within a few years of retiring and want a plan before the paychecks end
- Already retired and unsure your withdrawals are sustainable
- Working with an advisor now and want a second opinion
Probably not a fit if you're
- Looking for stock tips or a short-term trade
- Set on managing everything yourself with no outside input
- Shopping only for the lowest fee, regardless of the service

Marc Aarons
President & Founder
You'll talk with Marc Aarons
Marc founded Money Managers, Inc. in 2009 and still meets with prospective clients himself. The firm works with individuals, families, and small business owners, mostly in California and Nevada.
Our team includes a CPA and an Enrolled Agent, and the firm prepares taxes as well as managing investments. That means taxes are part of the retirement conversation from the start, not an afterthought.
You can review Marc's background and the firm's registration on the SEC's Investment Adviser Public Disclosure site.
Questions people ask before booking
Is the consultation really no-cost?
Yes. There's no charge for the first consultation and no obligation to work with us afterward.
Do I need a minimum amount saved?
No. We don't require a minimum account size. The booking form asks for a rough range only so Marc can prepare, and "prefer to discuss on the call" is always an option.
What does it cost if I decide to work with you?
Investment management is billed as an annual percentage of the assets we manage. Separate planning engagements have their own fees. The full schedule is in our Form ADV Part 2A, and Marc will walk you through it on the call.
What should I bring?
Nothing is required. If you'd like, bring recent account statements to the meeting. Please don't send statements or account numbers by text or email.
Where do we meet?
By phone, by video, or in person at our office at 333 City Boulevard West, 3rd Floor, Suite 300, Orange, CA 92868. You choose when you book.
I already have an advisor. Is this still worth it?
Many people book this call for a second opinion. You're under no pressure to move anything.
Do you work with people outside California?
We work with clients in California and Nevada, and in other states where we're permitted to do business. If you're elsewhere, book anyway and we'll tell you on the call whether we can help.
Get a clear picture of your retirement
